The Act to facilitate the payment of support states that Revenu Québec is responsible for collecting and distributing support payments in Québec. Revenu Québec collects the support payment form the person required to make it, and then pays it to the person entitled to receive it. On certain conditions, a person may be exempted from the support collection system, but a court judgment is necessary in every case.
Your support has not been paid
If Revenu Québec collects the support to which you are entitled, you do not need to take any action. If your support is not paid, Revenu Québec will take all the necessary steps to recover the amounts owed as quickly as possible.
